Transport Company

Are you a Broker? This is one of the most commonly asked questions by people that do not understand how the trucking industry works. YES we are a brokerage, and let us explain why that is what you are looking for, and why some less reputable companies with bend the truth in knots or give you a word salad to explain this question. They want you to believe they OWN the trucks coming to get your property, when nothing could be further from the truth.
99.8% of all the transport and logistics websites you find will be for a brokerage even if they have words like "direct carrier" etc. Transport brokers are a needed buffer between you the client and the driver behind the wheel for a number of reasons. First for insurance and documentation reasons. We create contracts between the drivers' and you to make sure the right items are taken to the right destinations, logged properly with the DOT, and fully covered by up to date insurance policies. *There are times when a carrier will have a lapsed insurance policy or improper coverage for your load. We use multiple tools to track and verify carrier insurance to make sure it is valid and up to date. If the coverage is not enough a rider policy can be issued for the specific load!* Is your property worth gambling with an uninsured or not properly insured company? |

Additionally half the companies out there use "Auto Price" generated numbers for your quotes. While these numbers have come a long way in being pretty close to real meticulously priced loads by an experienced transporter they are still not nearly as good. Here at Logi Transports we take all aspects of a move into account before issues the rate, not just clicking an "Auto Price" and passing the number along.
