The king of Car Shipping Company, SUV, and light/medium duty Truck long distance moves. These specialized trailers come with hydraulic ramps and lifts to angle and pack as many units as possible onto 1 trailer.
The largest will hold 9-10 cars or similar size units. However most loads will have a couple of trucks or larger SUVs which take up more room and total load weight capacity so they will usually only haul 7-9 units at a time.
With key weight limits set per vehicle it is very important NOT to pack your car, truck, or SUV full of items. Examples include: household items, luggage, spare parts, anything illegal or hazardous etc.
When the driver does his initial inspection and a unit is overloaded he will either not be able to load it due to weight limits, or charge extra for the weight capacity usage. If you MUST pack items in your vehicle please make sure you associate is aware and the approximate weight total of items. This will avoid any hassles at the time of loading. 🙂

Enclosed Car Trailer
Meant for exotic, luxury, classic, 3 wheel, race, open cab, and secret production models that can’t go on an open trailer. They come as small as single unit to 8 car double deck hard-sided with hydraulic internal lifts and lift gates on the rear.
This is your white glove service with high insurance maximums and driver’s that are used to expensive units. Typically enclosed will run 50-100% more than an open trailer.
Most will have winches for race cars and INOP units that cannot be driven into the trailer. Weight limits are not as much of an issue with these and an extra set of tires etc is usually acceptable.
